Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه reported:

The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said:
مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُصِبْ مِنْهُ
”If Allah intends good for someone, then He afflicts him with trials.”

Sahih Bukhari 5645
