I saw an article on islamqa.info that talked about democracy (https://islamqa.info/en/answers/107166/ruling-on-democracy-and-elections-and-participating-in-that-system). They said that it’s shirk to take part in this. Is it kufr to vote in elections? Or does it depend on one’s intentions? If somebody preferred democracy are they apostates even if they didn’t know it was against islam? I’m really worried because it was only today that i found out that it’s wrong.
