Why wouldn’t you try?

Why is it hard to be grateful to Allah for some people? If someone favours you and helps you in person im sure the least you would do is say thank you. Then imagine The creator, your lord, the lord of the universe, the one we need to worship, the one we seek for help everytime.. The one we ask guidance from everyday, the one we ask for mercy, the one who does actually all that as well, He would test you and yet bless you with more during patience.. And even if you aren’t patient at times out of His mercy he still provides and bestows upon you things you couldn’t imagine… You are breathing is that not enough of a provision? People ask for sustenance that you are blessed with, and yet it’s not enough.. is it? After the uncountable provisions, sustenance, and Allah carrying out His attributes and names perfectly… How can you not take a time out of the day to be grateful to Him? How can you not spend time in His worship? How can you not seek the correct understanding of deen to get closer to Him? How can you not try? How do you give up so easily? How is it that you find the sinful life more compatible…. and then how do you come with this overconfident delusion that Allah will anyway forgive so it is okay to do such and such sins? You who should give your entire life to Allahs ibaadah after knowing what He does for you, lays back and relaxes shamefully devoid of concern, with no iota of worry dripping from your forehead… Yet Allah provides for you and You take it for granted… Yet Allah isn’t in need of your Ibaadah… You are actually… And yet Allah doesn’t force you to give your whole life to only worshipping Him… He permits enjoying life the permissible way as well… But orders us to make Deen our primary concern… Is it that difficult to comprehend? Literally ponder, be Grateful and work on yourself, Work for your Akhirah.. Atleast try.. Honor your efforts with worthy results… And who told you to attain perfection? You will never be able to attain it, but walk that path of perfection so that you reach somewhere worthy along the lines… Worthy of the best of paradise… Keep the shield of repentance alongside with you, gratefulness and seeking Allahs forgiveness and praising Allah will seriously benefit you always, ofcourse in the dunya as well… but more importantly in the Grave and Akhirah. So never let your tongue, heart, limbs and Mind be dry and devoid of the remembrance of Allah, make time for your deen, for Allah everyday in some way, whatever way possible as per your best efforts, and put those efforts don’t assume this is the max you can go, you have the ability to push further…. this isn’t like having a limit of humanely possible physical strength. And Allah knows best.
